We've had something like 10 or 12 days above 90 this summer. I don't have AC in the house or car. I was having pretty bizarre thoughts of giving myself a Mohawk. Good thing the weather is about to improve in western NY! (And it's grape harvest time in the Finger Lakes region, i.e., great winery tours! Yay!) Love your fortune! I have a road trip tomorrow and was looking forward to knitting but not sure if I can drive and handle size 3 needles at the same time. LOL Seriously, I'm not driving. But size 3 is really just my preferred sock needle size. I only have size 3 needles because they came with a set of straight needles. This should be an adventure. Hopefully it won't end up in a "to do" bin with my fair isle mittens on size 0 needles. :-) It's beautiful and I must make it. Of course it's mostly when talking to my husband and I keep telling him not to worry, pirates are totally IN right now.
