The Good Times are Rollin’
Since I was busy drowning in doggie affection on Friday, today we’ll have the first-ever, fast-topic-changing Monday.
I have “custody” of all four Basenjis for the next four weeks, and I’m having a blast.
And here we go…
| It’s all dogs, all the time around here right now.
The boys have picked up right where they left off, as if they never spent any time apart. I’m having so much fun with them! This is another photo from my self-portrait project. Next…! |
|
| I’m thisclose to being finished with my second Fiona dress, this time in a larger size.
I’ve added this size to the pattern, so now the dress can be made to fit sizes between 3 and 24 months. Finally. Next…! |
|
| Within one hour of being at my house, Gus successfully removed the stuffing from the only two dog toys that were still (surprisingly) intact.
Good times. Next…! |
|
| Aww.
I knit these up for a friend to give away at a baby shower, in a trade with her. She’s as good with a sewing machine as I am with knitting needles…so I made her these, and she’s going to alter a few of my tshirts to be more flattering. This is the Baby Hat from One Skein and Super Quick Baby Socks from Blossom Knitwear. Both knit in Berroco Ultra Alpaca. Next…! |
|
| Gutters might be more important than I anticipated.
Next…! |
|
| Dontcha know? All the cool kids are flipping their beds upside-down nowadays.
Have a great week! |

That last photo is too cute! I am glad they are all having a good time.
I think I would put rain gutters on your list of things to get….probably somewhere close to the top. LOL
Be sure to look at my blog today for more photos of my babies.

Wow, you look busy!! I am sooo glad you have all of them together again–but is Gus being bossy or nice? And how is Abe taking it?

Has Abe had a chance to show his brothers his new mad home decoration skilz?

Jubilee flips the inside part of her bed (we have the same beds you do) and crawls underneath it. Good to know she’s not the only eccentric.
Flipping the whole bed is pretty impressive. Have fun with them!

Dogs look great! I learned the importance of gutters in a rental house many years ago…therefore all houses since then MUST have them!

At my house, all the cool kids are EATING their beds! The bed-flipping seems more practical.

Sounds like the parTAY is at Staci’s! Enjoy!! =)

My little girl doxie, Mini, likes to sleep UNDER her bed. Actually, she usually steals Mayer’s bed and then flips her bed on top of her. Kind of like her own little bed/clamshell. Weird!

the dress… omgomgomgomg squee!!!
Glad the crew is getting along well and you guys are having a blast! Have you taken them to Town Lake yet?

Glad to see all your boys together again–quality time with Mom and sibs is important. And don’t all REAL dogs destroy dog toys?
I’m impressed your guys use their beds. My Lab eschews his–which is on the floor in our living room–for the leather couch next to it and then looks at me with his “you don’t expect me to lay on that” look.

Stuffies are meant to die! Or at least that’s what I’ve been told.
I have to keep an eye on my girl’s bed. At odd moments I will catch a glimpse of it flying through the house as if it has a life of its own.

OMG! a whole month of uber doggy time! so much fun and winning, i can’t handle it!

Oh the bed flip is hilarious! My dogs wore out the last dog bed, time to replace it. I guess I should have bought them each one instead of making them share!

I just posted that I was extremely happy that all the guys were back under one roof, but now I am sort of bummed that it is only for 4 weeks. I sure hope that changes. I know 4 dogs and one you is probably a lot of work, but think of all the joy you will get from them.
