The Big Catch-Up Campaign, Part II, June 2006I made a promise to keep the updates coming almost every day, so here we are. I'll have you know, however, that I would much rather be watching The People's Court right now. So sacrifices are being made. We have a couple of changes to the site, as you can see to the right here ---------> Eric Colley, web hoster extraordinaire and filmmaker, has streamlined the way I link to past updates. Faaab. On with the update. |

| Some of you may know that I have a tattoo now, and that I've been pondering what the design of my next one will be. My current tat (which I am unable to photograph, since Chris is in Europe with the camera) is of a daisy on my lower right leg. I finally found a new design I wanted when I visited Julia's blog (scroll down for her tattoo post). I saw her tat, asked her how she felt about sharing the design, and made a new friend in the process. So here I am under the skillful hands of Aaron Dale, one of Houston's best, at Houston's premier tattoo studio, Shaw's . | |
| Ouuuuuch!! Not really. I'm just making a face for the camera. I made Chris laugh. |

| The outline is finished... | |
| And here's the new tattoo, all shined up! Yes, it's a knitting tattoo. A cool, tough, badass knitting tattoo. Don't mess with my knitting, man! I figure I've been knitting for about 30 years, so it's not like knitting is a passing fancy for me or anything. My favorite thing about the tattoo is the fact that it's definitely in a traditional style. The black outline, the flames...all very traditional. Thanks again, Julia, for being so generous with your design. |

And here is Julia's tattoo. See why I loved it? You'll notice the biggest differences are yarn color (mine's pink, duh), and the flames. Apparently each tattoo artist has their own style of flames. I can dig it. |

One last picture that has nothing to do with anything else in this update. Wasabi kills! |
