Here's a beaded scarf that I finished a couple of weeks ago for my friend Melissa's birthday - namely, another Gilda. (She admired the Gilda I made for myself, so I was hoping she'd like one of her own. She did.) I knew what I wanted to make for her, but I wasn't sure about the colors to use. Inspiration was very near by... |

Having yarn left over from the Palette Sweater is nice. Since there are 30 colors I always have whatever color I need on hand - and sometimes I use the yarn as sort of fibery "paint chips" for trying out new color combinations before I buy yarn. Recently I finished a project from these four colors, but I need to ask my pregnant sister two questions: |

The best part of these booties has to be the picot edging around the sole. It makes them look like little cakes. |
