Fun With Doggie EarsAugust 2, 2006 If you've been to verypink before, you know that we have three Basenjis. They are pretty doggies, with ears that stick up like satellite dishes. The fun part comes in when you start to manipulate their ears to make them look like other breeds of dogs. The possibilities are endless! No dogs were harmed in the creation of this post. In fact, two of them actually enjoyed it (for a while). One of our boys didn't like it, so we didn't make him participate. |

One last thing for today... In celebration of MTV's 25th anniversary, VH1 Classics has been running old MTV footage, including the first hour of MTV. It is so cool! That first hour, of course, includes the first video every played... |

Video Killed the Radio Star, by The Buggles. Very cool to watch. I just wish they were playing the first hour exactly as it played the first time, including the commercials. You know me and commercials. "The first video ever on MTV" is a common trivia question...but do you know the SECOND video? |

I didn't know it, either. It was You Better Run, by Pat Benatar (at least according to this VH1 broadcast). (I don't recommend trying to get good photos of the tv screen while the morning sun is shining through the windows.) |
