My First Computer This was actually considered portable back in 1986! It's a Kaypro something-or-other. Dig that crazy double-drive action! If you think this is bad, the printer was the size of the island in my kitchen. |

My First Self-Inflicted Haircut, 1971 I was three years old, and all of the pretty girls on tv (think: Marsha Brady) had long hair with no bangs. My solution? Remove the offending bangs with some nail scissors. I cut my hair the day before the photographer was scheduled to come to the house to take photos of my sister and me. Mom did a decent job with the comb-over. At least I had more hair than Kelli. (If you want to see something funny, go to my About Me page and take a look at that photo. My First Diary I was nine years old, and there are only 4 lines of space available for each day. Here's a goodie from July 20, 1977: Today I got my hair cut like Dorthy Hamal. I like it reel well! Or this one from July 22, 1977: Peggy babysitted us and Chris and David asked if they could play with us, but Peggy said no, so Chris or David threw a rock at my head. Good times! |

My First Musical Purchase Okay, these aren't the first. I just spent a half-hour in the garage going through an old box of tapes, and I couldn't find my real first tape, which was The Stray Cats. These were the oldest ones I could find. I still know all of the words to all of the songs. |

My First Dog Ike and I have been together since 1998. Our pack has grown substantially since then. Had to squeeze a doggie photo in, of course. |
