A Trusted, Old FriendNovember 17, 2006 No, this isn't going to be a sweet and sappy post about someone I love. It is a sweet and sappy post about something I love. Television. These photos are all borrowed from other sites, but rest-assured, I did not steal any bandwith. |

Every weekday morning, I eat my breakfast and watch People's Court. How long has this show been on air? That's how long I've been watching it. I still think of Marilyn Milian as the "new" judge. Did I breathe and give you the impression that I was done speaking? |

Sticking with courtroom reality... I love Judge Judy. To me, she is the perfect combination of bitchiness, logic, and smarts. Her desire to embarass the stupid people on national tv warms my heart. Put on your listening ears, you're not listening! |

On to primetime. Are you watching this?! Heroes is SO GOOD. I started watching it as sort of an accident, and now I'm totally hooked. This show came up as a topic in knitting group last week, and we were all freaking out about how good it is. Hats off, ABC. Save the cheerleader, save the world. |

House is also SO GOOD. I remember Hugh Laurie from his Blackadder days. He's doing a great job of putting on an American accent in House. It could be a brain tumor. Cut him open! |

This photo is really boring, but The Amazing Race makes my heart race. I get so worked up, like I'm the one running from the airport to the tuk-tuk to the Thai fruit stand to the Kuwaiti oil field. Detour! |

Okay, Survivor isn't the smartest show I watch, but I still eat it up. A million dollars is at stake, after all. The tribe has spoken. |

I love to watch devil children on Supernanny. I can sit back, all smug, and tell myself that my dogs would NEVER act like that. That is 'unasseptable'. You need to sit on the naughty chair. |

Maybe I can't identify with Supernanny, but I can watch The Dog Whisperer and know that my dogs can be just as bad as the dogs that Cesar is sent in to help. Exercise, discipline, and affection. In that order. |

You've probably never heard of this one, but I really like it. Dr. G, Medical Examiner. People die in suspicious circumstances, and Dr. G gets to figure out how it happend in the autopsy room. Sometimes it's really gross. So I ran a tox-screen, and sure enough... |

And one last guilty pleasure... Lawrence Welk. a-one and a-two... |
| Here's where it all happens. Believe me, I have more favorites than just the ones listed here. Let's just list them before this post gets crazy-long: Big Love, Sopranos, 24, The Contender, Medium, My Name is Earl, The Office, Intervention, and, ummm...American Idol. Please don't judge me by the fact that I watch American Idol. |
|
| Gotta keep the volume down on the tv. Gus needs his rest. He's currently working around-the-clock on growing a winter coat. |
