Hunka Hunka Burning Mohair LoveDecember 8, 2006 The title to this post makes me laugh, because I know what's coming up. But first, let me show you why I was awake so early today. |

| Thief! This is what woke me up this morning at 4:50am. A guy loading his truck with materials from the construction site across the street. I really tried to get a photo of his face and/or his license plate...but this is the best shot. So frustrating! Enough of that. | |
| All I have left to do on Ivy is a few rows on the sleeves and the tie-belt thingie. I should be able to finish it over the weekend. But I've already cast-on... |
| For this mohair cardigan (a longer version, actually). I don't normally cast-on something before I've finished the previous project, but I didn't really want to work on counting and shaping at Stitch 'n Bitch last night, so I started something simple. Speaking of SnB last night, I pulled out this mohair, and Jet saw it and said, "It looks like a wig!" Strange, that's EXACTLY what Chris said when he saw it. Then she said, "If I had two, I would have Princess Leia buns!" THATS EXACTLY WHAT CHRIS SAID, TOO! Was this a case of great minds thinking alike, or immature minds thinking alike? You be the judge. |
| But Chris was able to take it one step further, and actually transform the mohair into Hunka Hunka Elvis Wigs for the dogs. Well, only two of the dogs got Elvis wigs, because Lou is unable to stand still long enough for the camera shutter to open and close. |
| Elvis Gus hopes you have a good weekend, baby. |
