First off... OMG. WE HAVE FOUR DOGS. No, let me start again. The six of us would like to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has wished us well (or even shed a tear!) over the happy ending to our newest family member's story. We all love Abe very much, and we feel very lucky that we get to keep him here with us. Lou is especially happy. Another three-year-old in the house to play with. Confused? Last up today - this is a screen shot from Chris' Nike+iPod thingie. Here's a quick explanation... There is this cool gadget for runners that works with iPod. While Chris is running and listening to music, a sensor attached to his shoe is tracking his speed and distance, and sending that info back to his iPod. When he gets home, he uploads that info to the Nike website to see how he is progressing, and to compare his time to other runners. This thingie has proved to be a great motivator for Chris. He has been trying like hell for the last few weeks to make the Top Ten. Lookie here! He's SEVENTH in the US for men in his age group for the 10k! See? He's "Barkless3". Run, Chris, run! |
