1. I attended my second-ever crawfish boil over the weekend. |

2. I wear a retainer to bed every night to keep my teeth straight. |

3. I won't pick up my knitting unless I know that I have time to complete at least one full row. |

4. When I was about 12 years old, I quit eating refined sugar for about a year. It was in an attempt to keep my skin from breaking out. Since then, I've never had a problem with zits. I still don't eat much sugar. There wasn't even any in the house for the sake of this photo. |

5. Over the last few months, I've made an attempt to dress more like a girl. Before I leave the house, I ask myself questions like these: Can I wear a skirt instead of shorts? Can I wear sandals instead of Converse? Am I wearing earrings? The answers are often "no", but I'm trying. |
