A Weekend in Shoes

'Tis the season, and all that. Chris is officially on vacation for the rest of the year, and seasonal celebrations are in full swing.

I believe that my weekend of partying can easily be visualized by my footwear... 		 
 
Left to Right:
  • Stitch 'n Bitch on Thursday night. Very casual.
  • Chris' corporate party, ice sculpture, champagne, ya know.
  • Christmas party at our friends' house. It's difficult to think "holiday" when it's 80 degrees outside.
  • Home watching Lost DVDs.
Don't the shoes make it easy to imagine the event??
I have already mentioned how the construction site across the street is a thieves' paradise. It's pretty much a nightly event now...they pull up, load up, and get the hell out. But they aren't as sneaky as they think, since they wake us up every time.

So last night we had ourselves some fun. Once we heard them arrive (3am-ish), Chris grabbed the car keys and hit the "Panic" button on the remote. Our car was parked just a few feet from where they were thievin'.

Of course, the thieves thought they had triggered our car alarm. We let the alarm continue while we watched these three big terrified guys load into the van and get away as quickly as they could.

Good holiday fun!
This happened while we were watching Lost DVDs last night.
