The Houston CrowdSeptember 8, 2006 Today I bring you (some of) the Central Houston Stitch 'n Bitch crowd from last night. Just bloggin' the girls today. Much like Stalker Angie. Thanks for the inspiration, Angie! |

| Here's Jennifer, holding two important items. First, her mom made her this sock bag to match a bigger bag (so cool)...AND, this is Jen's FIRST SOCK EVER. Congratulations, Jen! Big round of applause! Now you have to knit another one just like it. Did you get a look at her tshirt? |
| Sarah's being eaten by "The Grape", but she's still smiling about it. She's always brave enough to start yet another baby blanket, and stick with it. | |
| I've misspelled Maya's name in the past, sorry Maya. I get my name misspelled all of the time, too. Maya is making a supercute Noni bag. |
| Baudelaire. I had to look up the spelling on knitty.com, but that's what Kelly's making. I like this photo because it looks like she's kntting so fast that the camera couldn't focus on her hands. |
| Smile, Amy! Because out of the several photos I took of you, I managed to catch you in between facial expressions in all but one of them! Amy is making the Hourglass Sweater. She reminds us a lot of how much she loves the yarn she is using. |
| Jet spent half of the night trying to do a Magic Cast On, until Amy sat down next to her and helped her out. Magic Cast Ons aren't easy while you're laughing and talking and giving it only 1/4 of your attention. I believe she eventually "got it" with Amy's help. | |
| Here's where we meet, at Cafe Express on West Gray. There were a couple other gals who's photos I didn't get...namely Lisa and Lisa. (Sorry. It was getting late for me.) |
| Finishing up with a doggie photo... It is impossible to keep this window clean, since the dogs routinely use it as a place to wipe their noses. (Is this too gross?) |
