Not for Lack of TryingApril 11, 2007 I thought I'd have the baby sweater pattern + tutorial ready today. I really, really did. Yesterday was a busy day, but I managed to squeeze in a little knitting here and there. I swear, I gave it a helluva shot. | |

| Okay, there was some time wasted. This is photographic evidence of such. Usually Ike is my happy little knitwear model, but Gus actually shoved Ike out of the way to get a chance to model this one. I am not kidding. | |
| Here is the sweater from the back. Gus stretched out and wore the sweater without encouragement from me. Ike stood close by, wondering how he lost this modeling gig. I suppose it's possible that we have the air conditioning set too cold, and Gus was just happy to find a way to warm up. | |
| One last thing: At the risk of sounding like a paid advertisment, I want to share this band with you, because they are just SO GOOD. Good - not in a specialized, gotta-be-a-fan kind of a way...but in a widespread, everbody's-gonna-love-it way. They're called Pink Martini. I have a couple of their CDs, but I found them on iTunes as well, so you can listen to a sample there if you're curious. The sweater and pattern should really, really, really be finished by Friday. :) |
