Third Edition - TV Theme Song Game

July 28, 2006

This is the last of the TV Theme Songs that haunt me...at least for now.

If this is your first TV Theme Song Game, here's how it goes. I give you a little bit of a photo and a little bit of lyrics. You guess the tv show. There is a link to the answers at the bottom.

Man, I've watched a lot of tv in my life.

Here we go...

1.

The weather started getting rough,
The tiny ship was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless crew,
The Minnow would be lost, The Minnow would be lost!

2.

Fish don't fry in the kitchen,
Beans don't burn on the grill.
Took a whole lotta tryin',
Just to get up that hill.
Now we're up in the big leagues,
Gettin' our turn at bat.
As long as we live, it's you and me baby,
There ain't nothin wrong with that.

3.

Here we come
Walking down the street
We get the funniest looks from
Everyone we meet.

4.

This might be the hardest one of the bunch, but I remember the song well!

People let me tell you 'bout my best friend,
He's a warm hearted person who'll love me till the end.
People let me tell you bout my best friend,
He's a one boy cuddly toy, my up, my down, my pride and joy.

5.

Well the first thing you know ol Jed's a millionaire,
Kinfolk said "Jed move away from there"
Said "Californy is the place you ought to be"
So they loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly.

6.

It's time to play the music
It's time to light the lights
t's time to meet the [withheld] on the [withheld] tonight.

7.

And you knew who you were then,
Girls were girls and men were men,
Mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again.

8.

Here's your "gimme".

Neat.
Sweet.
Petite.

9.

I probably didn't have to use as many lyrics here as I have, but I like the song so much, I wanted to share. :)

Once upon a summertime
Just a dream from yesterday
A boy and his magic golden flute
Heard a boat from off the bay
"Come and play with me, Jimmy
Come and play with me
And I will take you on a trip
Far across the sea"

10.

Come and knock on our door
We've been waiting for you
Where the kisses are hers and hers and his,
[withheld] too.
